Last week, Business Roundtable launched a new ad on FOX News urging Congress to extend and strengthen President Trump’s 2017 tax reform. The ad highlights the benefits of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) for American businesses, workers and families, including:
- Increasing domestic investment by 20%;
- Raising household income by over $6,000 in the first two years after tax reform; and
- Creating over 500,000 new jobs due to increased domestic activity by U.S.-based multinational companies.
With most of TCJA’s reforms set to expire at the end of this year, Business Roundtable’s new ad underscores the importance of maintaining a competitive, pro-growth tax system for American companies.
