Business Roundtable, an association of America’s leading CEOs, today released a paper, “We Can’t Sit on the Sidelines” – which shows the economic impact of engaging in the international marketplace and negotiating free trade agreements (FTAs); highlights how U.S. inaction on trade is putting American workers and companies at a competitive disadvantage; and outlines a comprehensive export strategy to stimulate economic recovery.

Business Roundtable today applauded the agreement between the United States and the Republic of Korea on the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement (KORUS FTA). With the last outstanding issues now resolved, Business Roundtable urges President Obama and Congress to work together to approve the agreement early in the new year.
