Honololu -- The 16th annual APEC CEO Summit is now under way in Honolulu, Hawaii, with Business Roundtable-member CEOs and BRT-affiliated companies participating in the gathering that brings together government officials and private-sector leaders from the 21 APEC economies spanning the the Pacific Ocean.

Business Roundtable supports a comprehensive restructuring of the U.S. corporate tax system, including a broadening and lower of rates plus a move to a competitive territorial system. Until that reform is accomplished, let's make sure to extend the current exemptions that help support a vital and competitive private sector.
