To highlight the need to modernize the U.S. corporate tax system to reflect today’s economy, this week Business Roundtable is giving visitors to www.brt.org a look at how the site would have looked in 1986, the last time that U.S. business taxes received a major overhaul.    

1986:

  • No commercial Internet.
  • The Iron Curtain divided Europe.
  • China remained a sleeping economic giant.
