Corporate Governance Business Roundtable Announces Will Anderson to Lead Corporate Governance Policy

Washington - Business Roundtable today announced the hiring of Will Anderson as Vice President, Corporate Governance, effective February 26, 2024. Anderson most recently served as Staff Director to the House Financial Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Capital Markets.

As Vice President, Corporate Governance, Anderson will oversee corporate governance policy and advocacy, reporting to President and COO Kristen Silverberg. 

During his tenure as Staff Director, he managed all aspects of capital markets policy, including oversight of entities such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and self-regulatory organizations such as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. He played a pivotal role in shaping the Committee’s capital formation agenda and led its Environmental, Social and Governance Working Group.

Anderson initially joined Business Roundtable in 2017 as a Director of Policy with a focus on corporate governance. He later served as Vice President, Technology and Innovation. Before joining the Roundtable, Anderson served as a Senior Associate at Patomak Global Partners LLC where he advised global financial institutions on corporate governance. Prior to that, he worked as an Advisor to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Legal Reform.

Anderson holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School. During law school he clerked for the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States. He graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
