Phillip Herndon is a communications and marketing strategist with broad experience across digital and social media. Herndon leads digital strategy and advocacy at Business Roundtable. Business Roundtable's membership consists of CEOs from the largest American companies, active on a wide array of federal legislative and regulatory issues.
Through his career as a journalist and as a digital strategist, Herndon has developed a deep experience with issue advocacy and public affairs. His work has been recognized as innovative in case studies by Google and Facebook, and has been featured in Politico and the National Journal.
Before joining Business Roundtable, Herndon was Partner and Vice President at NJI Media, and Senior Strategist at MXM Social. Herndon's early career in journalism included writing and editing for U.S. News & World Report, Bulletin Intelligence and Connection Newspapers.
Herndon earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia, where he studied Modern Literature and Philosophy.
