Prior to joining Business Roundtable in 2014, Beilein worked in the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition. While with the Commission, Beilein participated in several successful merger enforcement matters, including a detail with the FTC’s Litigation Group in an 18-day trial and victory in FTC, et al. v. St. Luke's Health System, Inc., et al, the first litigated challenge to a hospital system’s acquisition of a physician group. He also spent time in the Government Relations department at The American Enterprise Institute, a think tank based in Washington, D.C.
A native of Western New York, Beilein received his B.A. in Public Policy from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. He resides in Washington, D.C.
