Wes Lucas was named SIRVA’s chief executive officer, president, and board member in July 2008. Lucas is a seasoned executive with over 14 years as CEO at a wide range of companies, from large, global multi-billion corporations to high-growth private companies. Lucas is known for his ability to drive earnings growth through market share gains, technology innovation, new product development, geographic expansion, and improvement in operational capabilities to deliver outstanding quality and customer satisfaction.
From 2001 to 2006, Lucas served as chairman, CEO, and president of Sun Chemical, the world’s largest producer of inks and pigments, with approximately $4 billion in sales and 300 plants in 100 countries. In another key role, Lucas served as chairman of Kodak Polychrome, the world’s largest provider of commercial imaging equipment and materials. Additional roles include serving as CEO and president of Quebecor World, a $6 billion printing company; CEO and president of OpenWebs, a software provider of innovative trading networks; president of Sytrenics Nova Chemicals, world’s second largest polystyrene producer; vice president at AlliedSignal, a multi-billion-dollar industrial company; and as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company.
Lucas holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School (class of 1990), and a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of California, Berkeley (class of 1985).
