What is Business Roundtable

Business Roundtable (BRT) is an association of chief executive officers of leading U.S. companies working to promote sound public policy and a thriving U.S. economy.

BRT is active in the following areas:

Corporate Governance
Education & Workforce
Energy & Environment
Health & Retirement
Information & Technology
International Engagement
Smart Regulation
Tax & Fiscal Policy

“Create, Grow, Sustain: Celebrating Success,” is the 2014 edition of Business Roundtable’s annual sustainability report, which reaffirms the business community’s commitment to addressing environmental and energy challenges, while driving economic growth and job creation.

Business leaders are all too familiar with the “skills gap” in the U.S. workforce. Business Roundtable and ACT Foundation formed the National Network of Business and Industry Associations to tackle this challenge head on.

America’s business leaders believe that there is no greater domestic priority for Congress and the Administration than getting our economy growing faster.

Read our plan for growth, "Invested in America: A Growth Agenda for the U.S. Economy."

As part of a broad coalition, the Business Roundtable launched Trade Benefits America, an effort to educate on the benefits of trade and U.S. trade agreements and the importance of passing Trade Promotion Authority (TPA). TPA legislation will help provide new economic opportunities for American businesses, farmers, workers and consumers.
