Thank you for filing an amendment to strike the proxy access provision from the Restoring American Financial Stability Act. We are disappointed that the amendment was not allowed to be presented to the full Senate for a vote. We do however want to express our sincere appreciation for your leadership in attempting to have this harmful provision removed from the bill.

Business Roundtable CEOs are extremely concerned about this unwise and potentially destructive provision becoming law.
We are pleased that you have been named to the conference committee on the bill and look forward to working with you in an effort to remove the proxy access provision from the final conference report.
