Business Roundtable new hires and staff promotions include:
Corey Astill joined Business Roundtable as Vice President, Government Relations. Astill oversees and coordinates outreach efforts to Capitol Hill and the Administration on behalf of Business Roundtable. Before joining the Roundtable, Astill served for a decade as a staff member in the U.S. Senate, most recently as Legislative Director for Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE). He also served as Staff Director for the Senate Finance Subcommittee on Energy and Infrastructure, Staff Director for the Congressional Joint Economic Committee, and Counsel for former Senators Dan Coats (R-IN.) and Bob Bennett (R-UT).
Matt Moon joined the Business Roundtable as Vice President, Advocacy. Moon leads the execution of the organization’s issue advocacy campaigns through member engagement, advertising, digital strategy and grassroots/grasstops outreach. Prior to joining Business Roundtable, Moon most recently served as Executive Vice President at Delve, a D.C.-based competitive intelligence firm. He also served as Communications Director for Governor Rick Scott’s (R-FL) 2014 re-election campaign, Senior Advisor for Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI). and Deputy Research Director at the Republican National Committee.
Amy O’Connor joined Business Roundtable as Vice President, Digital. O’Connor will be responsible for the strategy and execution of digital, web and social media engagement for the association. O’Connor previously served as Senior Director, Digital and Social Media Communications for Eli Lilly and Company.
Betsy Stewart was promoted to Vice President, Public Affairs. Stewart continues to guide strategic communications for the organization with a focus on media relations, events and member communications. Stewart joined Business Roundtable in 2014 as Senior Director. She previously served for more than five years for House Speaker John Boehner as Director of Media Affairs, and served in the communications offices of the House Republican Conference, House Ways and Means Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee.
Will Anderson joined Business Roundtable as Director, Policy. Anderson conducts analysis and advocacy for the organization’s federal legislative and regulatory policy priorities. Before joining Business Roundtable, Anderson was a Senior Associate for Patomak Global Partners LLC, where he advised global financial services companies on legislative and regulatory activities.
Rayna V. Farrell was promoted to Director, Public Affairs. Farrell continues to facilitate media outreach, digital operations and the overall execution of communications initiatives for Business Roundtable. Farrell joined the Roundtable in 2014 as Communications Assistant, previously working at the government relations firm Mehlman Castagnetti Rosen & Thomas.
Kelsey Jones Art joined Business Roundtable as Manager, Digital and Social Media. Jones Art cultivates and engages digital audiences and advocacy programs and oversees all related website properties. Prior to joining Business Roundtable, Jones Art worked as a Senior Digital Account Executive at the D.C. public affairs agency DCI Group, LLC.
