Create, Grow, Sustain
Earth Day festivities in Washington, D.C., proved to be, oh, a washout as cold rain and wind held down attendance. But it's just a day, and palaver should not be the point. U.S. corporations keep sustainability at the forefront year round.
One-hundred-and-twenty-six Business Roundtable-member CEOs reported on their company's sustainability initiatives in the BRT's fifth annual sustainability report, "Create, Grow, Sustain." Whether it's energy conservation, recycling, reduction in the use of raw materials or application of innovative technologies, U.S. corporations are make sustainability an essential part of their business practices.
