Michael J. Ward is a thirty-year veteran of the Company and has served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer since January 2003. Mr. Ward’s career with CSX has included key executive positions in nearly all aspects of the Company’s business, including sales and marketing, operations, and finance. Mr. Ward holds an M.B.A. degree from the Harvard Business School. Mr. Ward serves on the boards of directors of Ashland Inc., the Association of American Railroads and the Center for Energy and Economic Development. http://www.csx.com
