George R. Oliver is the chief executive officer of Tyco and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. He joined Tyco in July 2006, serving as president of Tyco Safety Products from 2006 to 2010 and as president of Tyco Electrical & Metal Products from 2007 through 2010. He was appointed president of Tyco Fire Protection in 2011. Before joining Tyco, he served in operational leadership roles of increasing responsibility at several General Electric divisions. Mr. Oliver serves as a director on the board of Atkore International Inc., an equity investment of Tyco. Oliver has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
